Who we are

Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The only thing it stores in your browser is a single flag, for the length of your visit, so the chocolate-pour animation on the homepage plays once rather than every time you return to it.
What happens when you browse
Like every website, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to identify you.
The weather note on some pages is fetched from Open-Meteo, which receives your IP address when it loads. Our Google map only loads if you press "Show the map"; Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Their own privacy policies apply to that information.
Booking a workshop
Online bookings are made through Bookeo, our booking provider, whose booking form appears on our family workshops page. That form is loaded from Bookeo and may set Bookeo's own cookies. When you book, Bookeo collects the details needed to take and manage your booking, including your name, contact details and payment. We use those details only to run your booking and contact you about it.
Emailing or phoning us
If you email or call us, we use what you send us only to reply and to arrange your visit, party or group booking. We don't sell or share it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
